Following another successful season of basketball in East Kent, players and league officials gathered at the end of season awards evening.
Team awards for the 2016/2017 season were as follows:
- EKBL Men's Division Champions: Ashford Outlaws.
- EKBL Men's Division Runners Up: University of Kent A.
- EKBL Women's Division Champions: Canterbury Crusaders.
- EKBL Women's Division Runners Up: Christ Church University.
- Adrian Cook Cup Winners: Christ Church University.
- Adrian Cook Cup Runners Up: Whitstable.
- Adams Plate Winners: Ashford Outlaws
- Adams Plate Runners Up: Thanet Lions
- Grove Cup Winners: Canterbury Crusaders
- Grove Cup Runners Up: Christ Church University.
- Grove Cup 3rd Place: Herne Bay
- Grove Cup 4th Place: Folkestone Saints
Individual awards for the 2016/2017 season were as follows:
- EKBL Men's MVP: Jake Murphy (Ashford Outlaws)
